We are a great company with great people and we are looking for an experienced Full-Time Mortgage Production Partner, who will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a servant heart to our team of top-tier mortgage professionals in Longmont, CO.  We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for assistance with sales and marking for Nest Home Lending.

5 Examples of What You’ll Do

•        Input and evaluate borrower loan applications.  You’ll take that data and offer suggestions for proper loan structure, pricing and product selection.

•        You’ll develop and maintain sales and drip campaigns targeting existing referral sources, new referral sources and past clients.

•        Communicate.  Throughout the loan life cycle, you’ll contact all parties to the transaction to notify them of when specific milestones are met.

•        Meet with borrowers to collect and analyze pertinent documentation for loan qualification.

What you'll need to be successful…

Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude.

•        Your default setting is to be proactive, not reactive.  This is a position for someone who is comfortable speaking on the phone and in person with clients and referral partners.

•        You have the ability to work independently.  Being disciplined and motivated are a must.  The position will be supported, but not be micromanaged.

•        You are comfortable with technology.  Having the capability to harness the power to the technology that Cornerstone offers is a prerequisite for success in the company.  To thrive in the position, you must be able to master loan operating software, automated underwriting systems, our CRM and Microsoft Outlook.

•        You have incredible comprehension skills.  Understanding mortgage guidelines and paying extra attention to even the smallest details are needed to thrive

•        You are currently licensed in accordance with the SAFE Act

•        You know how to put together a loan and know what red flags to look for during the process

•        Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending

  • Disclosing and submitting loans to Operations Department – lots of attention to detail

  • Providing extraordinary customer service to both internal and external customers

  • Meeting goals set by team lead in regards to time frames - we always close our clients on time

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Teamwork and customer service a must

•        Tech Savvy –

•        Working within a data base

•        Social media marketing (described below)

•        Working with marketing/advertising and maintaining social media (responding to comments, posting and maintaining all social media pages)

Job Requirements


•        Current NMLS licensed required

•        2+ years of mortgage experience is required

•        Knowledge of Fannie, Freddie, and other underwriting guidelines

•        Can work extra hours; our office is quite busy year-round

•        Great customer service is a must have

•        Sales experience is a plus

•        DU is a plus

•        Computer savvy and strong ability to pick up quickly on new systems

•        Possess strong knowledge of MS Office

•        Salesforce experience and knowledge on working within a database a plus
